Originally built in the 70's,
this single story house was designed around an entry court, and featured mid-century design with broad overhangs on hipped roofs and exposed wood ceilings. The house had only 1 bedroom with windows; all other bedrooms opened onto a glass hall. A late windowless addition was built into the hill.
The new design added a second story over the central part of the house, accessing three bedrooms and a laundry facility through a new mahogany clad stair tower. The late windowless addition was reworked, creating new space with generous windows, celebrating the landscape. The interior was refreshed and embellished with new finishes and lighting.
